Foreign minister Jaishankar during his keynote address at the Shanghai cooperation organization SEO submit head in Islamabad set that corporation and partnership in the framework of SCO can be strengthen only when it is based on traditional understanding and genuine partnership, hey clearly said that the countries participating in the organization should understand that corporation cannot be based on my one sided agenda or selfishness, but should be based on the mutual interest and respect all of these member countries.
Jaishankar stressed the international organizations especially multilateral forums like the SCO can work effectively only when member countries respect each other’s traditions, needs and boundaries. Mutual understanding and genuine partnership are the key to the success of such an organization. He also does attention to the fact that if some countries within the organization priorities only their own interest it could hamper the progress of the entire organization and lead to lack of Trust among member countries.
The foreign minister stressed that it is very important to have mutual understanding among the member countries on the platform of SCO so that the goals of regional stability, security and economic development can be achieved. According to him, this is possible only when member countries are closely with each other and pursue or dedicated partnership.
During his addresses Jaishankar also mentioned the regional challenges and global crisis which the SEO countries need to solve together he also said the organization should focus on issues that are of interest to the entire region and that can ensure long term development and stability.
