Military Engineer Services : Shri Mohit Dubey, IDSE, was conferred the prestigious Sudesh Dhiman Trophy at a ceremony held in New Delhi on 28 September 2026, on the occasion of the 104th Raising Day of the Military Engineer Services (MES).
The award was presented by Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, PVSM, AVSM, VM, VSM, in the august presence of Lt Gen Vikas Rohella, AVSM, SM, Engineer-in-Chief.
The Sudesh Dhiman Trophy is one of the prestigious awards of MES and is conferred upon the officer whose technical paper is adjudged the best among papers published during the preceding year. Shri Mohit Dubey received the award for his technical paper titled “Legislative Requirements in the Field of Construction Law in India.”
Shri Mohit Dubey is a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE). He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. Prior to joining the Military Engineer Services, he worked as a Structural Engineer in the United States of America for over three years.
The recognition of Shri Dubey’s technical paper reflects his professional expertise and contribution to the understanding of legislative and legal requirements in the field of construction engineering.
