JEE MAINS: On Monday 28 October (National Testing Agency NTA) announced the scheduled for JEE mains 2024 join entrance examination session 1 and session 2. In the following process the registration process for the following has also started. All the details of examination are available on jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in . The registration has started from 28 October 2024 and will go on till 22 November 2024.

Details on examination.

According to NTA scheduled the JEE mains 2025 exams will take place from January 22 to January 31, 2025.

This year exam will be conducted in 13 language which includes; English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu respectively.

Apart from this application number will no longer be considered while assigning ranks to candidates with identical scores, the ranking will depend on student performance in the exam. The result will also be declared by 12 February 2025.

How to get admit card for the examination?

Admit card will be provided to the candidates, 3 days before the examination date. The candidates can access the card by login through there registration number or date of birth.

Eligibility for the examination.

According to latest discuss and update in JEE mains 2025, age limits will no longer be considered in examination.

The candidates of general category should have 75% in class 12, while SC and ST should have 65% in class 12 in apply in examination.

JEE Mains 2025 Paper format.

The paper will not contain any opinional or MCQ questions. It will have 75 questions overall among which 25 questions will be there from each subject such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Total marks of the exam will be 300 among 100 marks are in three different subjects.

JEE mains tie breaking rules.

In the situation of tie between the two candidates with same scores, the following criteria will be use to resolve it.

1.Higher NTA scores in mathematics, physics and chemistry.

2.Lower ratio of attending incorrect answer to correct answer in mathematics, physics and chemistry.

If still the marks are same then both the candidates will be awarded the same rank.
