Respected Scholar Dr. Jayanti Prasad Sharma Passes Away at 90

Mathura: Dr. Jayanti Prasad Sharma, a respected resident of Radha Kund, Mathura, and a highly esteemed figure in education and social service, passed away at the age of 90. Dr. Sharma, who held M.A. degrees in History and Political Science, devoted his life to teaching and community development.

He served as a teacher for over 31 years at an Inter College in the Govardhan region, deeply impacting his students and contributing to the area’s growth. Dr. Sharma’s research work focused on the historical and religious significance of the Yamuna River, a topic he explored in depth over a decade, studying 10,000 ancient texts. His academic efforts were widely respected, and he was an influential figure in Govardhan’s educational community.

Dr. Sharma also played a key role in his family’s success, helping his brothers attain high-ranking positions, with one becoming a district judge. His son, C.K. Sharma, a social worker in Noida, held a memorial service in Noida to honor his father’s contributions.
