Poetic Brilliance Unveiled: ‘Hai Dil Ki Baat’ Ghazal Collection Launched in Ghaziabad

Hai Dil Ki Baat
Ghaziabad, January 12, 2025 – The Hindi Bhavan in Ghaziabad became the epicenter of literary brilliance on Sunday with the grand launch of ‘Hai Dil Ki Baat’, a soul-stirring ghazal collection by celebrated poet Mrityunjay Sadhak. The event was further enriched by an enchanting Divya Kavi Sammelan, leaving the audience spellbound with its poetic grandeur.
A Gathering of Literary Luminaries
Presiding over the ceremony was former Uttar Pradesh Education Minister Shri Baleshwar Tyagi, while India Express CMD Shri Upendra Rai honored the occasion as the chief guest. Renowned literary figure and Gaur Group founder, Sahitya Bhushan Dr. B.L. Gaur, attended as the distinguished guest, and acclaimed poet Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi graced the event as the special guest. The evening’s proceedings were masterfully conducted by esteemed poet Dr. Anju Suman Sadhak, whose eloquence and poetic finesse captivated the gathering.

Poetry: A Beacon of Emotion and Unity
Speaking at the event, Shri Upendra Rai emphasized the profound role of poets in shaping society and emotions. “Without poets, the world would be devoid of soul and sentiment. Poets are the architects of emotions, infusing love and harmony into the human experience,” he said. He further highlighted poetry’s ability to transcend conflict, adding, “In an era of hostility, poets remind us that true victory lies in love and selflessness, not in conquest.”
Elaborating on poetry’s philosophical depth, Shri Rai remarked, “A poet responds to bitterness with the silk of words, replacing enmity with compassion. They seek not to ignite flames of discord but to kindle hearts with love.” Reflecting on life’s transient nature, he observed, “Our true identity exists before the world defines us. A poet bridges the gap between the real and the perceived.”
Verses That Resonate
During his address, Shri Rai quoted an evocative line from ‘Hai Dil Ki Baat’ that particularly moved him:
‘Har hriday mein ek kasak tu peer ho, jo sabko jode wahi zanjeer ho’
(‘In every heart resides an ache unseen, a bond unbroken is what I mean’)
Expressing his admiration, he stated, “True wisdom is not borrowed but lived. A poet’s ink is steeped in experience, giving words the power to touch the deepest chords of the human soul.”
Honoring Literary and Academic Excellence
Dr. B.L. Gaur underscored the invaluable role of parental blessings in one’s journey, saying, “If you seek something in life, seek your parents’ blessings. I stand here today only because of them.”
Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi provided a compelling analysis of ‘Hai Dil Ki Baat’, unraveling its thematic depth and emotional intensity, while Shri Baleshwar Tyagi praised the book for its literary and artistic brilliance.
A major highlight of the event was the felicitation of 251 distinguished individuals from diverse fields, recognizing their contributions to society. Additionally, five promising students—Tanisha, Anuj, Sameer, Shalini, and Zubair—were honored with the Swargiya Malti Devi Samman in memory of Mrityunjay Sadhak’s late mother. The prestigious award included a cash prize, an honorary shawl, and a garland, acknowledging their outstanding achievements.
A Night of Poetic Grandeur
