Olympics: Olympics is a game played on a global level which happens after every four, alternatively between summer and winter season. This is played between 200 countries across the world with many sports and game events. It aims is to promote harmony and peace between this country and the world.

How was the Olympics stated? (Origin of Olympics)

The first Olympics took place way back in 776 B.C. in Greece but it was different from the Olympics from the current Olympics as it was performed by naked people who would fight with each other till death and it was all done in the name of God. Then 393 A.D. a Christian ruler came in power and banned all these practices. All Olympics games were dead till the 19th century.

Then came a man named Pierre de Coubertin who introduced the world with International Olympic committee in 1894. This was the beginning of the first ever Modern Olympics. The first ever Olympics game was held in 1896 in an athletic stadium, Greece.

The recent Olympics were held in Paris, France 2024 and the next Olympics are scheduled to happen in July 2028 in Los Angeles, California. It will be the third time when this city will host an Olympics event after 1932 and 1984.

The India first participation was in the 1900 Olympics game. Which made India the first Asian nation to participate in the Olympics event. Till now India has won 10 gold, 10 silver and 21 bronze medals in total. It is at 60 ranks right now with 41 medals.
