Monk arrested in Bangladesh: why did chinmoy Das get arrested, how Hindu are getting attacked in Bangladesh, condition of Bangladesh and India reaction and action on Bangladesh?

Bangladesh: On Monday November 25,2024 MR. Chinmoy Krishna Das got arrested from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. For Sedition Case. After that he was sent to jail and denied for bail by Chattogram court next day.

Who is Chinmoy Das?

Chinmoy Das or Chinmoy Krishna Das is a Hindu monk from Bangladesh, he is the spokesperson of Bangladesh Sanatan Jagran Mancha. He got arrested in Dhaka after the complaint by opposition party Nationalist Party Politician “Firoz Khan” for sedition charges and for leading a violent protest in the country.

The Story behind the arrest and the case of Chinmoy Das.

During a meeting of Sanatan Jagran Manch in Chittagong, chinmoy das hosted a saffron flag above the Bangladesh National flag. which later led to filling of a c

ase Against him for sedition by Firoz Khan. After filling of this case, he was also temporarily banned from ISKCON for anti-discipline activities within the organization. During this case it was also suggested that ISKCON should also be banned in the country which demand got denied immediately by the court.

What happened after the arrest of Chinmoy Das?

After the arrest several protests have been seen from followers of Chinmoy Das and other Hindus. It also led to lot of violence outside the court where the hearing was planned. During the protest police vehicle were damage, the police was also been attacked during the same process a lawyer name Saiful Islam Alif from the court were there was hearing was also murdered by lynching for not releasing chinmoy Das, or in anger of not releasing and giving him bail.

After this violence ISKCON society was banned from gathering and meeting, high alert and emergency was also set in Chittagong and Rangpur to control people from protesting and creating violence.

The Demand of Chinmoy Das in court.

1. To create a special tribunal for minority in the country.
2. Increase in the protection of minority by law.
3. By making ministry of minority affairs.
4. Increase and upgrade in welfare trust.
5. Increase Protection of temple properties.
6. By increase law against violence of minority and by making them part of government decision.

The Condition of Hindus and other minorities groups in current Bangladesh.

After the protest against PM sheikh Hasina and her leaving the country, the Hindus and other minority groups in Bangladesh had face a lot of backlashes. There has been unwanted protest against and killing of minority people. They praying or worship spot are also been taken over several times by the government. Many minority groups are coming together in streets for their rights to living, following their religion and justice for killing minorities.

On a recent violence or the anti-Hindu violence was also declared as exaggerate by the interim leaders, he later asks for more time to deal with rising violence. Till now also 2000 above case have been filled by commissioner chief according to him this number will keep increasing if proper action will not be considered.

Apart from this various leader like Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee and Pawan Kayal Have also shown concern over the attacks and arrest of Chinmoy Das. The ministry of external affairs has also concern on the violent activities.
