In the discussion Nana Patole wanted 125 seats for the congress which led to a conflict between him and Sanjay Raut. According to the sources provided by congress, UBT is seeking seat in the area where congress has a strong arc and chances of winning like Bandra East and Nagpur south. The congress also pointed out that they did not get a single seat in Konkan belt which is UBT strong pointed area. The congress also stated that UBT is demanding too much by seeking 100 seats where they only strength id limited to 82 to 85 seats.

Nana Patole showed an aggressive behaviour at a meeting last week which didn’t go well with the UBT as they also demanded seat in Nasik which led to a conflict between Patole and Raut. The UBT claimed that the behaviour was unnecessary and Sanjay Raut threatened to stop the meeting if Patole took part in them. On this congress said they will not take part in any meeting without there State Chief. After this conflict Uddhav Thackeray cancelled his own part meeting on Sunday and demanded a virtual meeting with the congress for next two days.
