Physicist Ashoke Sen has been awarded the 2026 Oskar Klein Medal Becoming the First physicist from Indian Nation to Get this honour. Ashoke Sen who holds the ICTS Infosys Madhava chair professorship at The International centre for theoretical sciences Tata institute of fundamental research TIFR Bengaluru is known largely for his first step or turn in granting to modern new latest string theory.
Meanwhile string theory purposes that the fundamental building blocks of matter are tiny one dimensional string rather than one point like particles The theory finds to give a unified frame work for analyzing the matter and forces governing interactions with in their constituents. Founded in the year 1988, the Oskar Klein medal prize is provided after Swedish theoretical physicist Oskar Klein. It is honoured simply by Stockholm university and the Nobel committee for physics of the Most Reputed Swedish Academy of sciences.
As the part of Oskar Klein memorial lecture a different researcher in given invitation every year to provide lecture in memory and achieve a medal Physicist Ashoke Sen left a permanent mark in the event gravity to string string to gravity on 22 October 2026 Thursday at the alba nova university centre in Stockholm. His presentation found how string theory can provide a continues quantum detailed information of gravity and found solution of questions which are not solved surrounding the quantum physics of black holes.

Ashoke sen is the person who received Padma shri in 2001 and the Padma bhushan in 2013 Ashoke Sen made most of the times influencial theoretical contribution assisted to form the field of string theory. His task was known with the break through award in basic physics in year 2012 the research helped give thoughts give the idea that different string theories could be understood as different boundries of single.

Underlying theory saying congratulations to Ashoke Sen on the fulfillment of goals or objective of aim it is Very lucky that Ashoke Sen is present in between Us and setting of excellence here in international center for theoretical sciences. Ashoke Sen internationally known Donations of his hard work s duality the precise counting of numbers for black hole entropy and string field theory giving details about as main areas of task that have supported in foration of modern string theory.
