Canada Hindu temple attack: Khalistani violence, PM Justin Trudeau reaction, attack on Hindus and their temple.
Canada: On November 3,2024 around 11 am a major violence by Khalistani extremists broke outside two Hindu temple; Laksmi Narayan temple and Hindu Sabha mandir in Brampton, Canada, many Hindus-Canadian devotees were also been hurt during the violence.
They were carrying sticks and flag related to pro-Khalistani groups. The whole incident is going viral on social media.
Who were injured during the incident?
Many people were injured during the incident as responded on social media by many Hindu Canadian organisation. According to the report the attack by pro Khalistani terrorist also includes women and children who has been hurt very badly. They chased Hindu people and beaten them. They added that they didn’t provoke any violence and this incident started without any notice.
They also stated that early also many attacks have been happened on temple earlier but this time people were also attacked.
Police statement on the incident.
In the police investigation there were many evidence of Khalistani stopping and warning people not to celebrate Diwali but after the neglecting of their warning by Hindus, their anger broke down in form of violence outside Hindu temple.
Till now there have been no arrest by the police but the matter is at peace for now. There are also several names the came after the further investigation who could be the main suspect behind this incident.
The police also stated that they are heavily guarding the temple and nearby places for people protection and they will soon arrest the suspects and people involved behind this incident.
Temple priest on the incident.
The priest said that, “Hindu community is now scared to visit temples after attacks by Khalistani separatists”. He also stated that police have not made any arrest after the incident. The police officials have failed to protect minorities and provide them with security arrangement.
PM Justin Trudeau reaction on this incident.
PM Justin Trudeau tweeted this morning saying; “the act of violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely”.
He also further thanked Peel regional police for swiftly responding, protecting the community at target and investigating the matter.
Ministry of external affairs to Canada government.
The ministry of external affairs also commented after the incident saying, “we call on the Government of Canada to ensure that all places of worship are protected from such attacks”.

They also added that “we remain concerned about the safety of Indian national in Canada”.
